OK...did the Shaping Up with Weights for Dummies...well most of it it's the Daily Dozen - I did 2 sets of 12 unless noted otherwise 1. Squat 2. Lunge - 2 sets of 6 3. Plie Squat 4. One Arm Row 5. Triceps One Arm Overhead Extension 6. Overhead Press 7. Biceps Curl 8. Shoulder Raises 9. Bentover Fly - 2 sets of 6 10. Push-Up - I can't even do the modified version 11. Crunch 12. Oblique Crunch with a warm-up and stretches between each set...this workout took about an hour... I think next time I will do chest presses instead of the push-ups

so yesterday was an off day for me. I went the the grocery store. I bougth $350 worth of groceries and mangaged to shop, come home, unload the car and put everything thing away in 2.5 hours. and i felt it afterwards!
i think my body was just physically worn out from the workout i had done the day before and from the shopping. i did manage to do 1/2 mile on the elliptical machine, but i fell asleep early (like at 10:30pm) on the couch, so i didnt get to do the weight exercises.
so far today i have done 1 mile on the elliptical and will do more once the kids are down for the night.

don't forget that you are supposed to give your body a couple days rest between weight routines...but still keep up with the cardio...

today i ended up doing 2 miles on the elliptical. and i will do the same weight routine that i did the other night.

just so ya'll know...my thighs are still sore from the lunges and squats the other day...
I just finished .5 mile (.8 km) on the treadmill...listening to Adam Lambert
I have also played on the wii for about 15 minutes...beat my Kung Fu high score again!

severe house cleaning... sweeping and mopping and vacuuming.
1 hour of walking around the grocery store on the saturday before superbowl sunday.

My workout the last few days has been the wall...up and down the ladder, learning kung fu Mr Miagee styles painting. I certainly felt it in my arms and back muscles. So today back to a more normal structure workout shortly

today wasnt the greatest day mentally.
