Teej and I were talking the other day and she gave me a great idea that I really think would benefit us all.
She told me that she used to keep a notebook in the kitchen and would write down what she had eaten for the day, how many calories, etc.
I think that this would be a wonderful idea, especially since most of us are busy with kids and meal times can be pretty hectic.
It would be so easy to just jot down what you ate for a meal as you are preparing it, or as you are cleaning up. You can easily keep track of calories, serving sizes, fat grams, etc.
Today I didn't have anything to write with so I sent myself a text message with what I had eaten. Lol.
SOOO Yay to Teej and thanks for the great idea. I know I will be doing it. I have already put a little notepad and pen into the drawer where I keep the kids lunch boxes, that way I will always know where its at, plus NO one ever goes digging in there for anything.

I really should get my notebook out again...
here's another thing that helped me out so much with it...I made a list of the things I ate/cooked most often...then I knew right away how much fat and calories for each serving was...
