1) Did I wake up and stay up today? And did I use that time productively? yes i did stay up, and i was somewhat productive. i spent alot of time on the computer today, when i could have been busy doing something else. 2) How much water did I drink today? so far only a little over a half gallon... maybe i can get a gallon in before the night is over 3) Did I take my all my vitamins and herbs 2x's today? no, i even thought about it, but i never bothered with it 4) Did I eat as healthy as I could today? well yes and no. i could have had a better breakfast, but at burger king i did get a chicken sandwich rather than a big burger... and i didnt even finish my fries. 5) Did I eat one EXTRA serving of fruits or veggies today? NO, i am going to have to work on this 6) Did I eat anything HIGH in fiber today? hahaha, i am going to buy supplements! 7) Did I workout with the elliptical machine? YEAH baby i did, and thanks to the humidity i felt the burn! 8) Did I do any other type of work out today? i plan on experimenting with the total gym tonight 9) Did I walk any today? no, but this will change, probably when alyssa is out of school and we can go walk together as a family in the evenings. 10) Did I take better care of myself on the outside so I will feel better about myself on the inside today? can we say extra long sensual shower

And did I use that time productively? yes i did stay up, and i was so busy running errands today. i got everything done today that i needed to do EXCEPT workout! 2) How much water did I drink today? one gallon baby! 3) Did I take my all my vitamins and herbs 2x's today? only once today, but its a start 4) Did I eat as healthy as I could today? it could have been better, but it wasnt the worst. i was busy and on the go for most of the day. something i need to work on. 5) Did I eat one EXTRA serving of fruits or veggies today? NO, i am going to have to work on this 6) Did I eat anything HIGH in fiber today? hahaha, i am going to buy supplements! 7) Did I workout with the elliptical machine? no thanks to tristan i did not have the time 8) Did I do any other type of work out today? yes, i did some squats on the total gym 9) Did I walk any today? no, but this will change, probably when alyssa is out of school and we can go walk together as a family in the evenings. 10) Did I take better care of myself on the outside so I will feel better about myself on the inside today? this morning i did, but tonight i am way too tired
today i had a ton of errands and running around to do. i seriously left the house at 7:45am and did not get home til almost noon. then i was gone again after school til dinner time. after making dinner, bathing the kids, watching Lost, sweeping, doing the dishes and getting tristan back in bed, it was after 11pm and i was too tired to do the elliptical. thankfully i was able to take some time earlier in the afternoon to figure out what was going on with the total gym and i did maybe about 15 minutes worth of squats on it. tomorrow i am going to be busy again in the morning time, but will def make time to do the elliptical in the afternoon.

And did I use that time productively? yes, and I guess so 2) How much water did I drink today? 2 bottles short of one gallon, but I will finish before the night is over 3) Did I take my all my vitamins and herbs 2x's today? yes and yes 4) Did I eat as healthy as I could today? I would say yes and no, the morning was rather sugar filled, probably from getting up so early, but lunch and dinner were pretty sensible 5) Did I eat one EXTRA serving of fruits or veggies today? I ate broccoli and lettuce in the same day, that's saying something! 6) Did I eat anything HIGH in fiber today? I ate a fiber granola bar 7) Did I workout with the elliptical machine? 4 miles baby! 8) Did I do any other type of work out today? yes, I did 200 squats on the total gym AND the arm weight routine AND wrestling around with the kids 9) Did I walk any today? no 10) Did I take better care of myself on the outside so I will feel better about myself on the inside today? I'm about to hop in the shower and stand under the hottest water imaginable.
today we had to get up early for a family road trip and drive an hour away and back for Joel to go to his arraignment (which took like a total of 20 minutes!), so I got up at 5:45am, we left town by 7am, and we were home by 10:30am. I tried to take a small power nap, but the kids didn't want to have any of that. so I watch part of avatar, and managed to do a couple loads of laundry and a couple things around the house. I even went to the grocery store and made tacos for dinner. once the kids went to bed and I got the kitchen cleaned I was able to work out and man it was good. it took a little bit to get going (I am tired!) but once I got to sweating it got more easy. I only hope that I am able to keep this up. I really want to, and Joel is being supportive about be working out, he always has been really, and that is a good thing.

I would say yes I ate a yogurt and a salad, I guess just don't count the big ass bowl of ice cream I plan to devour before the night is over 5) Did I eat one EXTRA serving of fruits or veggies today? salad... 6) Did I eat anything HIGH in fiber today? no 7) Did I workout with the elliptical machine? no 8) Did I do any other type of work out today? not yet 9) Did I walk any today? no 10) Did I take better care of myself on the outside so I will feel better about myself on the inside today? no, maybe a sensual shower will help to lift my spirits
I had planned to work out this afternoon after Alyssa got home from school, but an argument with Joel put me in a funk and ruined my plans. I have been in a pretty crappy mood for the rest of the evening and I really just want to shower, eat a big bowl of ice cream, and got to bed. maybe I will get a burst of energy and go do some sort of workout, if no elliptical then maybe just some squats on the total gym. we will see.

And did I use that time productively? no I went back to bed today after I took Alyssa to school, but once I got up for the day I was pretty productive 2) How much water did I drink today? pretty close to, if not, one gallon 3) Did I take my all my vitamins and herbs 2x's today? no and no, and I even told myself that I need to take them, but still didn't, maybe I can take them before I go to bed 4) Did I eat as healthy as I could today? no, I think I could have eaten way better today than I actually did 5) Did I eat one EXTRA serving of fruits or veggies today? no 6) Did I eat anything HIGH in fiber today? no 7) Did I workout with the elliptical machine? 4 miles baby! 8) Did I do any other type of work out today? yes, I did 150 squats on the total gym 9) Did I walk any today? no 10) Did I take better care of myself on the outside so I will feel better about myself on the inside today? no not yet, and idk if I am going to shower or not, I could care less right now.
so the past couple have days have really been shitty. I am basically feeling like shit about just about everything right now. I could honestly not give a crap about my diet and exercise right now, but I know that if I don't try to at least maintain that then I will not maintain anything, and then who knows what will happen to me.
I feel like I am taking shit from everyone and no one gives a shit about me. the kids don't ever cut me any slack, but its not that I blame them, if they didn't have me to come to then NOTHING would ever get done for them. you don't even want to get me started on Joel or his mother. I don't want to even think or talk about it. I can not let them win and suck the life force out of me any more than they already have. I wish I was still the person I used to be before I was a wife and a mother. I didn't take shit from anybody or anything, I never let anyone walk all over me, and I never ever expected that I would become the one thing I sworn I never would, which is one of those poor helpless women with no backbone and is totally dependant on a man for everything. but that is what I have turned into, and I hate myself for it. and I am just waiting for the day that I can make the changes I need to make so I am NOT that anymore. it really pisses me off, because that is the last thing I ever wanted for myself and now that's exactly what I am.
well that doesn't really have anything to do with working out or eating right, and I am rambling and got totally off the subject. bottom line is that I feel like I have no control over anything anymore, but eating and working out is the one thing I DO have control over (and I even take shit about that too). I just want to give up and not care anymore, but I do care... so I will keep on trying, taking it one day at a time, hoping that tomorrow will be better.

our journals are for everything...it's good to get it all out...I wish I could be there to help you...I know what you are feeling...I feel it all the time...you have been doing so great and if anyone is giving you shit about taking care of yourself, ignore them...they aren't worth the 2nd thought...

I straightened my hair and put on make-up to go to the BBQ, and yes it did actually make me feel better.
so thanks to my wonderful husband I had a shitty fucking day earlier today. after our big blow up fight and after Alyssa got home from school things around here seemed to get better. we went to the BBQ at Joel's work and I had to put on my happy face. other than a headache I felt a lot better.
I'm glad that I was able to do the small workout that I did earlier, because I ate so much food at the BBQ. I am stuffed to the gills.
hopefully tomorrow will be a better day.

today was actually somewhat of a pleasant day around here. but i accomplished nothing that i was supposed to.

I am so proud of you for keeping this up with all of the crap going on. I didn't when my life turned to custard. I'm sorry I couldn't chat yesterday, went to Mum's place and then spent some time with my sisters. I'll be around tonight but most likely you guys will be in bed by then. Daylight savings totally sucks arse!!! My free times just aren't lining up with you guys at the moment.

I'm pretty sure that you can guess the general theme of the day when you see with all of the questions that I answered NO today. and you can pretty much blame that on the fact that I stayed up all night reading that pathetic excuse of a book that charlaine harris wrote. I stayed up all night and did not go to bed until about 8:15 this morning after I took Alyssa to school. I got up at some point and made the boys breakfast then went back to sleep and did the same thing at lunch time. basically that's the way the day progressed until it was time to get Alyssa from school and take another nap. now I have been up since about 5pm and the only thing productive that I managed to do today was pay the cell phone bill, do dishes, and go thru a box of things that I have been putting off since we moved the computer over here to this house. I haven't drank ANY water AT ALL TODAY, which makes me really thirsty to think about. I am actually hungry now and I should eat something. I have a leftover burrito from taco bell that I might warm up.
I really sucked today at the water drinking and I sooo need to get back on track taking my vitamins. I did work out 3 times this week, which is amazing considering the shitty week that I had. hopefully things will be sooner in the upcoming weeks. this weekend is a 3 day weekend and then Alyssa only has 4 more days of school after that. next week will be really busy for me tho, Tristan has to go the dentist on Tues, and then I have to go to Alyssa's school on wed, Thurs, and Fri for various things. I am going to try really hard to keep on track and do what I need to do for myself. after Alyssa gets out of school I plan on taking us on a family walk either before lunch time or in the evenings (basically when its not too hot) and I also plan on making the kids do my pilates video with me a couple of times a week. I think it will be good for all of us. it will give them something to do besides sit on the computer, watch TV, or play legos all day.
